There's not a lot you'll need to concern yourself with in terms of paddles, personal flotation devices (aka life vests) or a canoe or kayak. We've got you covered on all of that. But there are a few personal items you'll want to take with you to make your time(s) on the river enjoyable.
Here's a quick list of what you will want to bring along:

Snacks/lunch

Water shoes (or a pair of old sneakers)

Towel (but you can leave that in your car)

Ziplock bag (or if you want to get fancy a Dry Bag) to keep your keys/wallet/stuff dry

- A plastic "Poncho" in case it rains
